I jetted to Portland, Oregon this weekend to hang out with Scott and Amanda. On the way to their house from the airport, they told me about the angry ex-girlfriend, a new drink that Scott invented:

Right now, I’m on their back porch watching them stain some new patio furniture and enjoying my fourth or fifth angry ex-girlfriend. It’s so refreshing and incredibly easy to assemble: Use a microplane to zest some ginger into a shot of bourbon. Add San Pellegrino Limonata to taste. If you’re feeling fancy, garnish it with a blackberry or cherry. Amanda was feeling extra fancy and garnished it with blackberries that had been soaking in bourbon.
